Client discussion is done to know their design needs, applications and material requirements.
2.Designing
Image prepreation involves designing and creating the content that is to be printed on the filim. The designing is done based on subtractive color system (CMYK). Image are created using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw and Gimp.
3.Design Approval
An approval is taken from the client on final decided design. In case of electronic cylinder a printed proof on the required material is also given.

Printing Concepts ............................................ |
CMYK is a subtractive
color model used in the printing process, because it describes what kind of
pigments need to be applied so the light reflected from them produces a given
color. One starts with a white canvas, and uses ink to
subtract color from white
to create an image. CMYK stores ink values for cyan magenta, yellow and black. |
